Bukky Wright: Why I Ventured Into Acting
Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has revealed that her decision to venture into acting was not driven by fame but by a desire to remain visible to her children after they were taken away from her at a young age. Speaking during a recent panel session in Lagos, the actress recounted how she married into a wealthy family that doubted her future prospects. According to her, acting became a means through which her children could one day find her.
Wright said despite the painful experiences she endured, she is proud of how far she has come in life and in the entertainment industry. Since beginning her acting career in 1996, she has become a household name, featuring in productions such as Super Story, Saworo Ide, Omotara Johnson, Red Circle, and Aso Ebi Diaries.
Security Concerns Stop Me From Attending Some Concerts — Don Jazzy
Music producer and Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has explained why he no longer attends certain concerts in Nigeria. According to him, security concerns and the behaviour of some fans at events have made such environments uncomfortable and unsafe.
The music executive stated that concert attendees often lose valuables such as phones and wristwatches during crowded events. He contrasted those experiences with concerts organised by his artiste, Johnny Drille, which he described as peaceful and orderly. Don Jazzy also commended Ayra Starr for building a positive fan community.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his concerns while others accused him of subtly promoting his artistes.
‘I Refuse To Be Tagged Unfaithful’ – Frank Edoho’s Wife Alleges Physical Abuse

Sandra, who has been criticised online over allegations of infidelity, denied claims portraying her as unfaithful or immoral. She further alleged that Frank Edoho subjected her to humiliation, trauma, and physical abuse during their marriage, while also accusing him of infidelity and being an absent husband and father.
The controversy has continued to spark conversations across social media, especially after Sandra claimed to possess video evidence to support her allegations.
‘Silence After Presidential Pardon Isn’t Bravery’ – TikToker Sea King to Sunday Igboho
Nigerian TikToker Sea King has criticised Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho over his silence following the recent abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oyo State.
In a video shared online, Sea King questioned Igboho’s commitment to tackling insecurity in Yorubaland, recalling his earlier promises to confront banditry and protect the region. He argued that the continued attacks in the South-West contradict those assurances.
Sea King further described Igboho’s silence after receiving a presidential pardon as “politics,” insisting that the activist has failed to address the worsening security situation in the region. The comments came months after President Bola Tinubu removed Igboho’s name from the Federal Government’s wanted list.
