It’s High Time for Nigeria to Consider Igbo Presidency – Brymo

Maverick singer Olawale Olofooro, popularly known as Brymo, has said it is time for Nigeria to begin seriously considering an Igbo president.

Speaking during an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the singer urged Nigerians to let go of past grievances and embrace reconciliation in the interest of national unity.

However, Brymo expressed concern over rising insecurity in the South-East, arguing that such challenges could hinder the region’s chances of producing a president. He further claimed that insecurity has often been weaponised as a political bargaining tool in different parts of the country.

The singer also praised President Bola Tinubu, stating that he prevented the South-West security outfit, Amotekun, from evolving into a separatist movement.

Leave Pop Scene for Younger Artists – Brymo Tells Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido

Brymo has urged some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars to step aside and allow younger artistes to take centre stage.

Speaking in an interview with TVC, the singer accused Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy of attempting to dominate the industry through the continued promotion of the “Big 3” narrative.

According to him, younger stars such as Rema should currently be leading conversations in the pop music scene. Brymo argued that the industry must evolve by creating more room for emerging talents rather than focusing endlessly on veteran acts.

Reno Omokri Reacts After Davido Called Him ‘Bingo’

He maintained that his criticism was aimed at discouraging the use of a global platform to draw attention to terrorists and kidnappers, arguing that such publicity could inadvertently aid their objectives.
