Three persons have been arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Osogbo for stealing a Toyota Hiace Hummer vehicle belonging to the Osun State Ministry of Justice.
The trio who were arraigned on a two-count charge including stealing are, Salawudeen Hammed, 27, Sarafa Adeyemo, 26, and Abdul Yekini Salawudeen, 67.
The charge sheet disclosed that the accused persons conspired themselves to commit the offence at No 57, Church street, Oke-Onitea in Osogbo.
It stated that the accused persons stole one Toyota Hiace Hummer vehicle with registration number OSA-04-05, engine number JTG5X23P4B6109833 valued N7million property of the Ministry of Justice, Osun State, contrary to section 383 (i) and punishable under section 390 (9) (10A) of the penal Code Cap 34 Vol II laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.
The Magistrate, F. A. Sodamade granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N1 million with three sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 25th of September 2017 for hearing.
