Three Injured As Explosion Rocks Rivers APC Rally
The All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign gathering was rocked by twin explosions on Thursday, resulting to pandemonium at the Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt, the state capital of Rivers.
It was gathered that at least three persons were seriously injured in the unfortunate incident.
All of the injured, including two ladies, were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Darlington Nwauju, the APC’s publicity secretary, acknowledged the occurrence and called it “unfortunate”.
However, the police spokesperson, Iringe-Koko, said the command is investigating the incident and will reveal details soon.
