Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was absent on Monday at a national caucus meeting of the party that had in attendance, President Muhammadu Buhari and other top government officials.
The meeting was held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It was reported that Tinubu, who is heading a presidential reconciliation committee set up to reconcile aggrieved party members across the country, may present his interim report at the meeting but his absence proved otherwise.
Top government officials that attended the meeting include; Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and state governors.
Party Chairman, John Oyegun led other party officials to the meeting.
