President Bola Tinubu has appointed a former Commissioner in Osun State, Engr. Olalekan Badmus as the Executive Director of Marine Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
Badmus, who served as Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties between 2019 and 2022, was appointed alongside five others as Executive Directors of Departments under the NPA and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
A statement by Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesman said the appointments of the unit heads of the agencies under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, takes immediate effect.
