Tinubu Attends Inauguration Of Pope Leo XIV at Vatican
President Bola Tinubu on Sunday joined other world leaders at St Peter’s Square, Vatican City, for the inauguration mass of the new Bishop of Rome, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.
Tinubu briefly met and shook hands with the US-born pontiff before proceeding down the reception line.
Among other dignitaries who greeted the Pope were US Vice President J.D. Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Following the event, Tinubu shared a message on X, formerly known as Twitter.
