The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the Chieftain of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure, Ondo state over the death of her daughter, Mrs Funke Olakunrin, who was killed on Friday.
Tinubu, while commiserating with the family, said, “I am shocked at the incident but as well, we need to equip the police and recruit more hands, though the force is recruiting, that may not be enough but giving them the needed tools to work with.”
The former Governor of Lagos was accompanied during the visit by the Ondo Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, Chief Bisi Akande, Secretary to Ondo state Government, Honourable Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde, among others.
