Tinubu Presenting 2026 Budget Without Accounting For 2025 Fiscal Year – BudgIT
BudgIT, a civic organisation, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu would present the 2026 budget of N54.4 trillion before the National Assembly without accounting for the 2025 budget performance report.
Tinubu is expected to present the 2026 budget before the National Assembly on Friday.
In a statement on X, BudgIT, said Tinubu’s government is yet to make public the 2025 budget implementation report.
“Mind you, there is still no budget implementation report for 2025.
“The 2026 budget is almost here, yet we don’t know how the 2025 budget performed?
“No report. No accountability,” BudgIT wrote on X.
