Tinubu Reportedly Appoints Osun-Born Army Officer As NYSC Director-General
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of an artillery officer, Nafiu Olakunle, as the new Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Olakunle hails from Ileogbo, Aiyedire Local Government of Osun State.

Though there was no official announcement from the presidency yet as at the time of filing this report, it was expected that Brigadier-General Nafiu Olakunle’s leadership is poised to elevate the NYSC programme, reinforcing its pivotal role in fostering unity and empowerment among the youth of Nigeria.
When confirmed, Olakunle will take over NYSC leadership mantle from the outgoing DG, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed.
