Tinubu Swears In Seven New Ministers

 

President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in seven newly appointed ministers at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The ministers, who were recently confirmed by the Senate following thorough screening, are set to assume key roles within the administration.

The new appointments come two weeks after President Tinubu dismissed five ministers from his cabinet.

He subsequently nominated these officials to fill the vacancies and further strengthen his cabinet team.

The seven ministers and their portfolios are as follows:

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction

Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour & Employment

Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State, Foreign Affairs

Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment

Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development

Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development

These ministers are expected to immediately commence work in their respective sectors to support the administration’s objectives.
