Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has accused the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, of bias towards the forthcoming local government election in the state.

This is as he insisted that nothing will prevent the upcoming poll.

Fubara made this statement following a visit to the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) on Thursday night, after receiving reports of alleged police interference in the electoral process.

3. Why Corps Members Received 33k Allowance Instead Of 77k – NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has given reasons why the Corps members received N33,000 for their September allowance instead of the expected 77,000.

Osun Defender recalls that in a press statement issued by the agency’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, in September, said corps members’ monthly allowance was now pegged at N77,000, up from the previous N33,000.

4. Six Years Later, Pastor Adeboye Apologizes For Claiming Non-Tithers Won’t Enter Heaven (Video)

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has publicly apologized for a statement he made six years ago, in which he claimed that individuals who do not pay tithes would not make it to heaven.

Osun Defender recalls that Adeboye had on April 2018 while speaking at the April edition of the monthly Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp, along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, claimed that anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven.
