The Osun Progressives (TOP), a caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun, has congratulated Mrs Sherifat Abidemi Aregbesola on her 61st birthday.
TOP described Mrs Aregbesola as a strong pillar in support of the achievements and aspirations of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, her husband.
According to TOP, Alhaja Aregbesola is a perfect example to buttress the popular saying that behind every successful man, there must be a woman.
TOP, in a press statement signed by its Chairman, Reverend Adelowo Adebiyi, today, said Alhaja Aregbesola has been an agent of stability and growth in the political ministry of her husband through her virtuous character of patience, accommodation and friendliness.
The APC caucus maintained that Alhaja Aregbesola’s submissiveness to God and her husband, humanitarian service, kindness and humility is worthy of emulation by all rational political and apolitical women.
Wishing her more blissful years, The Osun Progressives prayed that the wife of the former governor of the State of Osun will continue to enjoy inner peace, happy home and sound health.
“Alhaja Aregbesola is a perfect example of “Obinrin rere lodede oko”. She is an amazing woman that has been supporting her husband through thick and thin. We cannot but appreciate and commend you for nourishing the political ministry of your husband through your charitable and friendly conduct.
“You are a pious woman, an epitome of motherhood. You are a woman of virtue. We wish you many happy returns.”
