A lone accident that occurred in Okuku along the Offa Expressway in Osun Statehas reportedly claimed the life of a yet-to-be-identified motorcyclist.

The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Osun State Command, Kehinde Adeleke, in a statement released on Thursday in Osogbo, said the deceased was recovered from the scene of the crash.

Osun State Police Command has released popular social media activist and member, Omoluabi Progressives, Qomarudeen Oladepo, popularly known as Adabanija.

Osun Defender gathered authoritatively that Adabanija was released around 6pm on Thursday evening, after intervention by several stakeholders in the state.

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola has sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Adviser on Climate Change, Prince Moruf Adedapo.

This was as he directed the abolition of the office of Senior Special Assistant on Climate Change.

4. Osun Workers To Get New Minimum Wage End Of November – NLC Chair

Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Osun State, Comrade Christopher Abimbola Arapasopo, has assured workers in the state that a new minimum wage agreement will be reached before the end of November.

In a video shared on the X handle of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s New Media Assistant, Gbenga Lawrence, the labour leader expressed optimism about the ongoing negotiation process with the state government, while urging workers to remain patient and trust in the leadership of the union.
