A social-political group, The Progressives League, Osun State Chapter has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari’s timely intervention on the leadership crisis rocking All Progressives Congress ( APC).
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the state chairman, Hon. Fajobi Olusanjo and the state secretary, Mr. Ajiboye Tunmise in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to the group, the President’s intervention was not only cerebral, but it has forestalled a major challenge multiple litigations in various courts of our land. The outcome of the NEC meeting has ended all frivolous and divisive litigation and our party therefore triumph.
The group also appreciates the appointment of the governor of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola as a member of the APC Caretaker Committee as it is a round peg in a round hole.
The statement stated that President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of Gov. Gboyega Oyetola as South West Representative of APC Caretaker Committee is highly commendable as his experience as a technocrat, politician and governor of the State of Osun will help in repositioning our party for justice and fairness to signal a Nigeria of our collective dream.
The group further congratulates Governor Gboyega Oyetola and wish him well in making APC a bigger, better and united party in Africa.
