Members of the Osun chapter of the People Democratic Party have marched out in scores to protest the judgement delivered by the election petition tribunal.
Taking the street of Jaleyemi and marching down to Olaiya, Osogbo, the members were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions like “Osun citizens reject Oyetola”, “on Imole mandate we stand,” “tribunal panels are not fair on today’s Judgement” among others.
Addressing the protesters the Deputy Governor of Osun, Kola Adewusi, has calmed the protesters urging them to allow peace to reign while the party is set to follow due process in reclaiming the mandate.
Recall that the Osun Election Petition Tribunal, has earlier sacked Gov. Ademola Adeleke in the July 16 gubernatorial election.
