Tragedy As Truck Crushes Two Siblings To Death In Ondo

Two siblings were reportedly crushed to death, along ldi-Mango, in Ore, Odigbo council area of Ondo state.

Sources said that the victims, who were on a motorcycle, were crushed to death by a truck loaded with sand at about 10:25 am on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses said the crash was caused by the victim’s carelessness while plying the highway.

According to them, the victims slipped on the motorcycle and rammed into the truck coming along the Okitipupa route.

“The driver of the truck ran away due to the incident while the truck was being taken to the police station in Ore.”

Contacted, the state commander of the FRSC, Ezekiel Son-Allah, attributed the crash to overspending by the victims.

Ezekiel Son- Allah, pleaded with motorcyclists to always avoid overspending.

He said, ” The victim’s corpses were deposited at the General Hospital mortuary in Ore.

The commander added that” the crashed vehicles were handed over to the police in Ore Division.
