Turkish Super Liga club, Trabzonspor are considering a bid for Super Eagles and Hapoel Be’er Sheva striker Anthony Nwakaeme before the end of the transfer window, AOIFootball.com can authoritatively confirm.
The Turkish side is considering using midfielder Ogenyi Onazi who coincidentally happens to be a teammate of Nwakeame at the national level to lure the attacker to Turkey, in a bid to provide stiffer competition for the duo of Burak Yilmaz and Hugo Rodallega.
Nwakaeme, 29, joined Be’er Sheva from Hapoel Raanana on a free transfer in 2013 and currently has one year left on his current contract with the Israeli league champions.
With both parties seemingly unable to agree on a contract extension till date, it’s most likely that Be’er Sheva will be open to selling the attacker for around €2 million rather than lose him on a free transfer.
