A gang of armed robbers on Saturday reportedly attacked a hotel in Ode-Omu, Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State, carting away valuables belonging to guests and the hospitality facility before being intercepted in a gun duel by operatives of the Osun State Amotekun Corps.
Spokesperson of the corps, Yusuf Abass, in a statement on Tuesday, said the hoodlums stormed the hotel in the early hours of the day, dispossessing guests of a Toyota Matrix vehicle worth about N7 million and six LG 42-inch television sets estimated at over N3 million.
