The ruling People’s Democratic Party in Osun State has responded to the attack of the Allied Peoples Movement on Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration over what it described as a poor value-added tax performance.
The APM, in a statement signed by its state chairman, Adewale Adebayo, and released on Sunday, the APM claimed Osun recorded the lowest VAT revenue in the South-West in the first quarter of 2025.

2. Osun Govt, PDP Planning To Attack Yes/No Chairmen, APC Alleges
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Osun State Government of planning to violently unleash mayhem on its Yes/No chairmen and take over local government secretariats on Monday, June 23rd.
The party also charged the state government to clear the allegation that local government allocation, running to over N200 billion, had been funneled into private bank accounts linked to members of the Adeleke family and from where contractors engaged by the state government were serviced.

3. Appeal Court Affirmed PDP Officials As Authentic Osun LG Chairmen – Adeleke
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Sunday, stated that the June 13 Court of Appeal judgement affirmed the authenticity of the local government chairmen elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on February 22, 2025.
Adeleke, in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, said security agencies and relevant authorities in the state have been briefed about the ruling, with optimism that normalcy will be restored soon.
