A civic group, the Coalition for Good Governance, has condemned the attempts by certain individuals and groups allegedly sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to misrepresent court rulings and pressure the Federal Government over the ongoing local government crisis in Osun State.
The group, in a press statement signed by its Convener, Adedokun Ismail on Wednesday, criticised a recent press conference held in Abuja by a group known as the Transparency Centre Network (TCN) led by Ayuba Ahmed.

2. Knocks As AGF Grants Osun APC Yes Or No Chairmen Permission To Open CBN Accounts
A letter from the office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Shamseldeen Ogunjimi, directing the purportedly reinstated All Progressives Congress Yes or No Chairmen in Osun State to provide information for the opening of local government accounts has surfaced online.
The AGF, in the letter signed by the Director of the Federation Account Department, Rita Okolie, asked the APC council chairmen to apply for the opening and maintenance of the accounts at the Central Bank Of Nigeria CBN branch in Osogbo.
