In what appears to be a troubling case of alleged political intimidation, Adabanija Kamorudeen, a loyalist of former Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has narrated his ordeal with the Nigeria Police Force.
The loyalist, who shared his experience on Facebook on Tuesday, accused the police of being used as tools to suppress dissenting voices while allegedly pressuring him to praise former governor Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.

The Osun State Government has announced that the commissioning of the completed dualisation of Stadium-Testing ground -Ilesa garage road will take place today, Wednesday, December 04, 2024.
A statement by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, said the completed road which was started during the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, will be commissioned by the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.

The Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union (IPU) has denied a report making the round that an indigene of the town reportedly killed an Ilobu man.
The union said indigenes of Ifon-Orolu are peaceful and won’t engage in actions that could lead to the breakdown of law and order.

There is palpable fear among residents of Ifon-Orolu and Ilobu communities in Osun State, following the death of a farmer, identified as Sikiru Onaolapo, on Tuesday.
Onaolapo, according to a post by Ilobu-Asake Vanguard on Facebook, was allegedly shot dead by an indigene of Ifon-Orolu.
