1. Gov Adeleke’s Brother Accused Of Stopping Construction Of Mosque In Osun School

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Osun State Chapter, has accused the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Ede and Dr. Deji Adeleke of forcefully stopping the construction of a mosque inside Ede Senior High School, Ede, Osun State.

The human rights group warned that the stoppage of mosque construction anywhere in Nigeria is an infringement on the Allah-given fundamental human rights of Muslims and an undisguised invitation to religious crisis.

The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Osun State chapter, has applauded both the federal and Osun State governments for their efforts in enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting farmers’ operations across the state.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo recently, the state chairman of AFAN, Alhaji Wahaab Bello, noted that the interventions from both levels of government had significantly improved food production and made farming more appealing to a wider segment of the population, especially youths.

6. How Buffalo Killed Hunter In Osun

A popular hunter in Osun State, identified as “Alfa Elefon,” was killed by a wild buffalo during a hunting expedition in the Lawoka community of Ile-Ife.
