1. Osun LG Crisis: Oyetola, Fagbemi Didn’t Withhold LG Allocations – APC Replies PDP
Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) has slammed the ruling Peoples Democratic Party over a report that it has reported the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola and Attorney General of the federation, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, to the diplomatic community over alleged withholding of local government allocations.
The APC described the leadership of the ruling party in the state as a bunch of jesters and unrepentant agents of misinformation and disinformation fondly misleading the innocent members of the public.

2. Osun LG Crisis: PDP Drags Fagbemi, Oyetola Before Global Rights Groups And Diplomatic Community
The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dragged the Attorney General of the Federation, Mr Lateef Fagbemi, and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, before Western embassies and global rights groups for alleged disobedience of a court order on the Osun local government leadership tussle.
According to the PDP, the duo plotted and executed the current local government crisis in Osun state through deliberate disobedience of a Court of Appeal judgment which reportedly recognized the chairmen and councillors elected under the party.

3. Police Commence Investigation As Woman’s Lifeless Body Found Near Mosque In Osogbo
There was panic in the Ogo Oluwa area of Osogbo, Osun State on Monday as a lifeless body of a lady identified simply as Halimat was recovered by operatives of the state Police Command.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, who confirmed the incident, said the remains of the deceased were picked up alongside a piece of paper that looked like a suicide note.
Ojelabi noted that operatives were deployed to the area immediately a report reached the Command that a corpse was lying near a mosque in the area, adding that a relation of the deceased had been found.
“The lifeless body was found at the back of a mosque in the Ogo-Oluwa area of Osogbo. Police operatives that were deployed to the scene smelt odour of Sniper.
“That fuelled suspicion. Also, something like a suicide note was found near the body. So, with all that, there was a suspicion that the deceased probably took her life.
“I must also say that there were no marks of violence on the deceased when it was recovered by the police.
“During investigation, a relation of the deceased was found by the police, and he volunteered many pieces of information about her, which is helping us,” Ojelabi said.
He assured that the Command will continue with its probe and ensure that the mystery behind the death is uncovered.
