1. PDP Asks Court To Sack Four Osun Lawmakers For Defecting To APC
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to order the removal of four federal lawmakers from Osun State over their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmakers are Senators Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East) and Olubiyi Fadeyi (Osun Central), as well as House of Representatives members Taofeek Ajilesoro (Ife Federal Constituency) and Omirin Olusanya (Atakumosa/Ilesa Federal Constituency).

2. NBA Threatens Legal Action Over Withheld Osun LG Allocations
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has appealed to the Federal Government to immediately release statutory allocations due to local government councils in Osun State.
The association described the withholding of the funds as unconstitutional and a violation of judicial pronouncements.

3. LG Crisis: Osun APC Berates NBA For Demanding Release Of Withheld Allocations
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the call by the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for the release of the withheld allocations meant for local governments in the state.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that the allocations have been withheld for six months now due to the leadership crisis between the council officials elected under the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party.
The NBA in a letter to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice on Wednesday, demanded the release of the withheld allocations meant for local government areas in the state.
But the APC while responding to the letter, described the NBA as a ‘meddlesome interloper’ who needlessly dabbled into the issue of the delay in the payment of the allocations for the local government for six months running.
