Residents in Osun State are expressing their frustration over a recent hike in bread prices, with loaves now costing significantly more.
Osun Defender reports that the bakers increased the price on Saturday. Price of 300 naira bread has risen to 400 naira, while 500 naira bread is now 600 naira. Similarly, the 700 naira variety has increased to 800 naira, and the 1000 naira loaf is now priced at 1,100 naira.
