1. Akinlalu: Abuja Police Storm Osun Amotekun Offices, Arrest 20 Personnel

Some police officers reportedly from Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Wednesday, stormed the operation base of Osun Amotekun Corps in Oke-Fia and arrested some personnel of the corps.

The policemen also visited the Amotekun office in Ife, where operatives of the security agency were also arrested.

2. Osun College Moves To Reclaim Encroached Land

The Governing Council of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, has revealed plans to reclaim a parcel of land belonging to the institution but currently occupied by another government agency.

This was contained in a statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Kingsley Omoyeni, and made available to journalists in Osogbo on Tuesday.

According to Omoyeni, the Governing Council also resolved to commence the process of upgrading the College from its current monotechnic status to that of a polytechnic.
