3. Osun Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Suspected Cultist With Guns
The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Ismail Damilare, a 22-year-old suspected member of an unlawful group, following a manhunt by the command’s Anti-Cultism Team.
A video circulating on social media shows Damilare in handcuffs and leg shackles, admitting that he was arrested with locally fabricated firearms, which he claimed were meant for self-defence against a rival group.
The Public Relations Officer of the Osun Police Command, Abiodun Ojelabi, told PUNCH Metro that the suspect was apprehended with two cut-to-size guns and six cartridges.
