1. Osun Seeks Railway Service Extension To Boost Economy
The Osun State government has urged the Nigerian Railway Corporation to extend its train services beyond Oyo State to enhance economic activities in the region.
The call was made by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Bunmi Jenyo, while welcoming passengers of the state-sponsored “Imole Free Train Service” in Osogbo.

The Integrity Caucus of the Bilaro Olu-Odo Ruling House in Ilesa, Osun State, has appealed to Governor Ademola Adeleke not to be partisan in the selection process and confirmation of appointment of who would be the next Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland.
The secretary of the caucus, Gbenga Tosho Haastrup, in a statement, also appealed to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dosu Babatunde, to give room for the traditionalists to perform their traditional roles in the selection process.
