1. Iragbiji Chieftaincy Declaration: Osun Assembly Fires Back At Aragbiji Over Warning To Gov. Adeleke
The Osun State House of Assembly has fired back at the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Rasheed Olabomi over his warning to Governor Ademola Adeleke on the white paper approved on the Iragbiji Chieftaincy Declaration.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Oba Olabomi had, in a press conference on Friday, appealed to Adeleke not to set Iragbiji on fire over, saying the report of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry, which the governor approved is unknown to him and the four ruling houses as well as the law of the state.

2. Osun Govt Appeals Judgement On Igbajo Kingship Tussle
The Osun State Government has appealed the judgment of an Osun State High Court which invalidated its White Paper on the removal of Oba Adegboyega Famodun as the Owa of Igbajo.
In a statement on Friday, the State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, disclosed that the government had filed an appeal against the judgment.

3. Oyo, Osun Senators Seek Tinubu’s Intervention On Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Highway
Community Leaders in Oyo and Osun states as well as other road users have protested the failure of the federal government to complete the 224 kilometer Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Highway despite the growing number of deaths recorded on the expressway on daily basis .
Also they expressed shock, and disbelief as 2025 budget omits Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa highway project .
Both Senator Sharafadeen Alli , representing Oyo South Senatorial District in Senate and his counter part , Senator Lere Oyewumi representing Osun West Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the National Assembly have appealed to the aggrieved people of Oyo and Osun states as well as other road users to exercise patience on the Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Highway project , assuring that efforts are on to get the project completed as soon as possible.
Senator Oyewumi who hails from Ikire , Osun state assured that all hands are on deck to see that the project is completed.
Senator Alli who expressed confidence that the road will soon be completed, revealed that the Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa Highway project was not captured in the 2025 budget, adding that even though it’s included in the budget, what matters most is the availability of funds.
The lawmaker who spoke with this reporter yesterday, explained that lawmakers from Oyo and Osun states have promptly written to the President , seeking a special intervention to ensure that funds were made available for the speedy completion of the highway.
