Tribunal Judgement: AGF Congratulates Buhari, APC

 

The Asiwaju Grassroots foundation has congratulates President Muhammadu Buhari and the All progressives Congress (APC) as the presidential election petition tribunal upheld his re-election.

In a statement released by the Group’s National coordinator Com. Olateju Ishola in Abuja the nations capital, the AGF described the judgement as confirmation of people’s unanimous wish “that is too loud to ignore.”

The social political Group also used the opportunity to eulogise the sacrifice of its principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu saying he remains the pillar of Democracy in Nigeria.

The Group urged the main opposition party, PDP to accept the verdict of the court in good faith. “The AGF Urges the PDP to accept the verdict of the court and prepare for the future election instead of chasing shadows.”

The group also charged Nigerians to keep supporting the President as the better days are ahead in the country.

Ishola, in the statement also called on the religious leaders to keep praying for wisdom and knowledge for the nation’s leaders to overcome the numerous challenges facing the nation.

The statement, also congratulated, the APC, the leaders of the party and their numerous members for standing by the party and the President.

“I am sure that with the support of the people of Nigeria, the Buhari/Osinbajo administration will take Nigeria to the next level of development ” the statement concluded.
