Tribunal Judgement: Osun PDP Calls For Calm, Says Osun People’s Mandate Will Be Reclaimed

Osun Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has enjoined the people of the State to remain calm and go about their lawful duties following the election petition tribunal judgement delivered in Osogbo on Friday.

The PDP reaffirms that the July 16 governorship election mandate bestowed on governor Ademola Adeleke by the good people of Osun will be defended and secured.

In a statement signed by Dr Akindele Adekunle, the State Caretaker Committee Chairman of the PDP said whatever their position or deception, no jupiter on earth will be able to break the collective will of the people of Osun.

Adekunle said, “We want to assure our people that lawyers of the party have been mandated to appeal the judgement immediately”

“The judgement according to the PDP has not changed anything. Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State and will continue to take steps that will assuage the long suffering experienced in the hands of the defeated Apc,” he added.
