The immediate past deputy speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Honourable Olufemi Popoola has described his victory at the election tribunal as a divine act of God which also justifies the will of his constituents.
Honourable Popoola made this declaration while reacting to the judgement delivered by Justice Jibril Umar who, on behalf of the Election Petitions Tribunal chairman, Justice Ado Yusuf Brinin-kudu and Justice Ngozi Oyeke, which dismissed Mr Aina’s petition.
The panel had said the petitioner failed to prove that he won the poll.
The member representing Boripe /Boluwaduro state constituency applauded the pronouncement of the the panel describing it as one which further reposes confidence in the judiciary and the judicial system at large.
Hon. Popoola dedicated his victory both at the polls & it’s affirmation at the tribunal, to every constituent in Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency and the All Progressives Congress APC in the state and assured them of his unalloyed commitment to quality representation.

He also implored the people of his constituency to continue to mobilize support for the party and it’s programmes with a view to upholding democracy.
