Tribute: A Great Awoist Has Passed

Federal Minister Of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola Below Acknowledges The Worthy Life And Contributions Of The Departed Senator Ayo Fasanmi

Baba Ayo Fasanmi was about the last of the radical disciples of Awolowo. There was nothing daring that Baba did not do in the pursuit of building an egalitarian society where the credo of Action Group will be emplaced. The credo is: FREEDOM FOR ALL, LIFE MORE ABUNDANT.

He lived his dreams. He never betrayed the cause of Awolowo and the genuine followers of his progressive path in governance and development.

He was a pillar of support for our administration in Osun, in inspiration, advice and solidarity.

We had a good relationship with Baba althrough our tour of duty in Ipinle Omoluabi (State of Osun). His wife preceded him to eternity and as he has translated to the other side now, it is our prayer that he joins the triumphant saints and awakes to joyful activities over there.

May all his relations accept with fortitude his passage and our deep condolences.

Ogbeni
