Truck Crushes Okada Rider To Death In Osun

A yet-to-be-identified Motorcyclist was crushed to death on Tuesday by a tipper truck loaded with sand in Osogbo, Osun State Capital.

It was gathered that occurred at the circular road along Ilesa garage road around 3 pm.

It was learnt that the truck driver made a U-turn on the highway while the motorcyclist carrying security personnel was riding from behind heading towards Ilesa garage.

Osun Police command spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.

She said the motorcyclist died on the spot while the security personnel sustained injury.

According to her, “The motorcyclist was killed on the spot. His lifeless body is on the ground while the officer (wounded) has been taken to the hospital.

“The situation is under control while the traffic division is investigating the incident.”
