Two Abducted Kogi Varsity Students Killed – Police
Two students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), who were abducted recently in the Osara area of the state have been killed.
The killing was confirmed by the Kogi State Police Commissioner, Bertrand Onuoha while speaking with journalists on Sunday in Lokoja, the state capital.
Onuoha said, “Yes, two of them were found to have been shot this morning.”

The police commissioner did not, however, provide further details.
He said that investigation is still ongoing as to the circumstances of their killing.
It would be recalled that a yet-to-be-ascertained number of students of the institution were kidnapped two weeks ago while they were preparing for their first-semester examination scheduled for last Monday.
However, 21 of them were rescued by the combined team of police and local vigilantes.
