Two Arrested Over Robbery At Mr Ibu’s Festac Home
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent, Chike Oti revealed that two members of the robbery gang that stormed the home of Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu carting away valuables and cash worth over N14m have been apprehended.
It was gathered the robbers had invaded the home while the actor was away. They met his wife who they ordered to show them where cash and other valuables were kept.
“According to my wife, the operation started at about 3am and lasted till about 4:25am this morning after which they left with all my property and cash,” Mr. Okafor revealed.
He said the robbers carted away over N14m and other valuables.
Chike Oti, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery, SARS, for further investigation.
