Two men, Saviour Daniel (25) and David Isaiah (25), have been remanded in prison over the alleged murder of one Comfort James, a suspected commercial sex worker.
They were remanded by a magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Speaking in court on Wednesday, the prosecutor, Inspector Olubu Apata, explain that there was probable cause to remand the defendants in custody.
He noted that the defendants were reasonably suspected to have committed the offences of conspiracy to murder and murder of Comfort James.
The Magistrate, K O Awosika, ordered the remand of the defendants and adjourned to March 21.
