Two Die In Osun Road Accident

No fewer than two passengers lost their lives in a lone accident that occurred on Friday at Balogun Village near Ikire, Osun State.

Findings revealed that the bus involved was said to be heading to Lagos from Ekiti State.

It was learnt that two passenger were said to have died on the spot while operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Federal Road Safety Corps reportedly responded shortly after the crash.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the NSCDC in Osun State, Kehinde Adeleke said, “Today, April 5, 2024, around 1336hrs, one Oma bus from Ekiti going to Lagos had a lone accident around Balogun village which claimed two lives instantly.”

She disclosed that those injured in the crash were taken to a private hospital in Apomu for treatment.
