Two Teenagers Docked For Attempted Stealing

A magistrate court sitting in Osogbo has remanded a 19-year-old boy, Enock and David Gali,19, in prison custody over attempted stealing.

The charge sheet read in court disclosed that the accused persons on October 16, 2018 at at No. 29, Ayetoro area, Osogbo conspired to commit felony contrary to and punishable under section 516 [A] of criminal code cap 34 vol II law of osun state Nigeria 2003

The charge sheet disclosed that the accused persons attempted to steal contrary to and punishable under section 509 of criminal code CAP 34 vol.II laws of Osun state Nigeria 2003.

The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against them.

The defence counsel K.E Ngwoke urged the court to grant the accused persons bail in the most liberal terms.

The presiding Magistrate, O.A Oloyade granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in the same sum.

The case was adjourned to November 26, 2018 for hearing.
