UCH Resident Doctors Commence Indefinite Strike Over Blackout

Members of the Association of Resident Doctors of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, have embarked on an indefinite strike to register air jordan 4 mars blackmon 2024 their grievances and frustration over the lingering blackout at the teaching hospital.
The industrial action was announced by the association’s General Secretary, Dr Uthman nike air jordan 1 mid outlet Adedeji, to the News Agency of Nigeria in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, explaining that the strike is due to the power outage in some of the hospital’s residential areas.
Earlier, the association had issued a communiqué announcing its readiness to embark on an indefinite strike on Monday, February 17, 2025, if electricity was not restored.
According to Adedeji, while electricity had been restored, only some parts of the residential quarters were reconnected.

He said, “Arising from the just-concluded Emergency General Meeting of ARD UCH which Jordan Boys Shoes was convened to appraise the current situation, it was observed that a part of the residential quarters were reconnected.
“Some other parts were, however, left in darkness.
“In the light of the prevailing circumstance, we are left with no other option than to embark on the earlier planned total and indefinite strike until all residential quarters are sorted (taken care air jordan 4 military blue 2024 of).
“We acknowledge the efforts of the UCH Management towards meeting our demand, but a lot needs to be done to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery.”
He assured all that the association would regularly review the lingering crisis that infringed on its members’ welfare.
