An Alumnus of Osun State University and the Chief Executive Officer of Yemi Grand Royal Farms, Mr. Opeyemi Adeosun, has recently commended the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola and the management of the University for initiating a Start-up Fund for Alumni of the University that has a bankable proposal.
According to the press statement by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ademola Adesoji revealed that Mr. Opeyemi attributed the birth and success of his company to the advice, guidance and initiative of the Labode Popoola led administration.
“On behalf of the entire staff of Yemi Grand Royal Farms, we sincerely thank the Vice-chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola and the entire management staff of the University for triggering the vision of entrepreneur in us, following up to ensure we succeed and providing valuable guidance. We cannot thank you enough as, without you and your inspiring leadership in the University, there might be no Yemi Grand Royal Farms,” Mr. Opeyemi Adeosun said.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola, while reacting to the commendation by the Alumnus, congratulates the Alumnus for achieving this laudable feat of establishing a business. Prof Popoola further adds that by creating jobs, you contribute your quota to the development of the nation’s economy. He then advised the Alumnus to keep the flag flying high as the sky is his limit.
Finally, Professor Popoola stated that he would not relent in supporting the students, Alumni and the youth to ensure they unleash their entrepreneurial skills on the world by looking inward and being self-reliant. He further urged other Alumni to grab the opportunity of the Start-Up Fund to kickstart their dream businesses.
