The management of Osun State University on Wednesday felicitated the pioneer visitor of the University, Prince (Dr.) Olagunsoye Oyinlola as he clocks 70.
In a message signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola, he described Prince Oyinlola, whose idea of establishing Osun State University remains indelible in the history of the state.
The statement said “Your Excellency, the occasion of your 70th birthday of an impactful life presents another special opportunity to celebrate you.
“We are proud of you because the University you established in 2006 has carved a niche for itself as a reputable tertiary institution acclaimed for delivering prompt, effective and uninterrupted high quality education.”
“Deep from our hearts, we pray Almighty God to grant you many more years of active service to your fatherland, in excellent health and renewed strength.”
“On behalf of the Management, Staff and students of Osun State University, I join you to praise God for a wonderful 70 years of achievements and accomplishments and I wish you long life in good health to serve God and impact more,” Professor Popoola added.
