UNIOSUN Increases School Fees

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) management has officially declared an adjustment in its school fees for the upcoming academic session, 2023/2024.

Osun Defender had earlier reported that the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Clement Adebooye had stated that the institution will not increase its tuition fees but other fees, due to the economic situation of the country.

This fee increment is applicable to both new and returning students, affecting all academic levels.

Upon investigation conducted by Osun Defender through the university’s official website, it was discovered that fees have seen a rise of N16,000 for both incoming and existing students. For instance, students in the Department of History, currently in their penultimate year, who paid N166,000 in the 2022/2023 academic year, are now required to remit N180,000 for the current academic session.

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Ademola Adesoji, also corroborated this information during a conversation with our reporter.
