UNIOSUN Medical Student Dies Of Asthma Attack

Oyedele Emmanuel, a part two student of Osun State University from the Department of Medicine and Surgery is dead.

It was gathered that the medical student died on Monday morning of asthma attack.

“Yes. He is dead. He died yesterday,” a source told Osun Defender.

The President of the Osun State University Medical Students Association, OSUMSA, Akinola Emmanuel confirmed his demise in a statement on Tuesday on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

According to the statement, “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Oyedele Emmanuel of Arete Giatroi, who was taken from us by the cruel grip of an asthma attack in the early hours of today. In his honor, we will be gathering for a candlelight procession today.

“Let us come together to remember a life that touched us all. As we light our candles, let us also light up the memories we shared with Oyedele. I pray we find comfort and strength in our collective grief.

“Please pay tribute to Oyedele Emmanuel, a friend and a committed member of our association.”
