Osun State University Teaching Hospital, UNIOSUNTH, has announced that it will launch a patient feedback system that will enhance engagement between the hospital and its clients.
The new Chief Medical Director of UNIOSUNTH, Dr Afolabi Babatunde made the announcement on Thursday while briefing newsmen at the boardroom of the hospital.
Babatunde noted that what he aimed for is patient satisfaction, adding the hospital will engage more with the clients to improve productivity.
The new CMD also said he planned to transform the Teaching Hospital into one that everyone will be proud of, disclosing that a quality improvement committee that will ensure that patients are properly taken care of will be inaugurated.

He listed his transformation agenda to include “enhancing patient experience, safety, and satisfaction, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement and innovation, strengthening teaching and training programs.
Others are, “Promoting cutting-edge research and collaborations as well as streamlining processes, optimising resources and improving productivity.”
The CMD, while appreciating the governor of the State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for his support for the hospital, said a comprehensive need assessment will be conducted to identify areas of improvement while a performance management system will be implemented to monitor progress.
Dr Babatunde promised to increase the Internally Generated Revenue of the hospital and called on staff to support him in achieving success during his tenure.
He also said staff welfare would be a priority, adding that training would be conducted to enhance staff capacity.
