UPDATE: Lunatic Who Killed Two Students Apprehended

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested the suspected lunatic who hacked two pupils of St. John’s Anglican School, Agodo in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of the state to death yesterday.

Recall that OSUN DEFENDER had earlier reported that the lunatic was able to enter the school premises due to the weak security condition of the school, where he successfully stormed the primary school from a nearby bush during break time and hacked two pupils, aged four years old, to death.

He fled the scene immediately after he carried out the deadly act.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police Ahmed Illiyasu had promised to arrest the lunatic and that necessary tests would be conducted to determine his state of mind.

The suspect was arrested after a long search by the police. Police sources revealed that he was shot in the leg for trying to attack policemen with a cutlass.
