US Begins Joint Strikes On Iran With Israel

The United States has commenced military strikes on Iran in a joint operation with Israel, according to multiple American media outlets citing US officials.

The development follows Israel’s earlier announcement that it had carried out attacks on its long-standing regional adversary and subsequently shut its airspace.

Reports indicated that Washington joined the offensive, marking a significant escalation in tensions in the Middle East.

In a related move, the US Embassy in Qatar issued a shelter-in-place directive for its personnel amid the unfolding situation.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to requests for official confirmation.

US President Donald Trump said the joint US-Israeli military action was intended to “eliminate imminent threats from the Iranian regime.”

“A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran. Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people. Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
