US Delivers Military Supplies To Nigeria To Fight Terrorists
The 0 has disclosed that the U. S. forces have delivered critical military supplies to Nigeria in support of the country’s ongoing security operations.
In a post on X on Tuesday, AFRICOM said U.S. forces delivered the 1supplies to Nigerian partners as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral security cooperation.
The AFRICOM, in collaboration with the Nigerian government, conducted the strike on Christmas Day in Sokoto State, which reportedly killed several terrorists.
The post reads, “U.S. forces delivered critical military supplies to our Nigerian partners in Abuja. This delivery supports Nigeria’s ongoing operations and emphasises our shared security partnership.”
While details of the equipment were not disclosed, the delivery highlights ongoing defence collaboration between the U. S and Nigeria, which includes training, logistics and intelligence support aimed at boosting Nigeria’s counterterrorism and stability operations.
The U.S. Africa Command is a unified combatant command of the U.S. Department of Defence, responsible for U.S. military operations, security cooperation, and promoting stability across Africa (excluding Egypt).
