Following the launch of airstrikes against ISIS terrorists in Sokoto State, the US has now turned their attention to the Sambisa Forest.

According to top security analyst, Brant Philip, the US are currently carrying out intelligence and surveillance operations in the large expanse of land within Borno State.

Philip revealed this via his X account and shared flight tracking data to back up his claims.

The tracking data showed a Gulfstream V aircraft flying over Borno state.

Philip, in his tweet, claimed that the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, is the target of the latest intelligence operations.
